CIVIC CENTRE OLDHAM MONO MSP0001301

CIVIC CENTRE OLDHAM MONO MSP0001301

The Civic Centre, Oldham , Greater Manchester, located at Oldham bus station is home to Oldham council and is a great example of local brutalist architecture, not everyones taste but I personally like it. It sits quite high on a hill, so its very prominent and quite a landmark, it can be seen from miles awy and is surrounded by similar concrete structures. One of the things that fascinates me is that the building takes on the hue of whatever light is striking it at the time, it takes on the beautiful warm glow of the sunrise and sunset, and all the lines of the design make it really interesting.
