A walk round Clayton Vale, Manchester.br/ br/ Detail of Clayton Bridge Viaduct.br/ br/ The viaduct erected in 1849 is now a disused bridge separating Clayton vale in the heart of the Medlock valley in the East of Manchester and Phillips park and Phillips park cemetary. Across the viaduct there is now a footpath with good views across the vale on one side , and views across East Manchester and the National cycling centre on the other.
